By now you probably realize that the Tom’s crew only yeets satire.
We don’t yeet nothin, but we do like to laugh and support animals.
There’s not much that can be done to save a rabid bobcat, and we sure don’t recommend you get yourself into a position where you need to fend one off. Rabies shots suck, and despite the humor, we don’t actually condone yeeting kitties.
This site was created to put a little animal humor out there in what are otherwise pretty divisive times in the US… and maybe brighten some spirits, troll some significant others, and hopefully drive a little traffic and donations to a charity focused on protecting these little critters (and many more).

We looked around at a variety of animal related charities, and many aren’t highly rated. The Animal Welfare Institute, however, is very highly rated and their annual reports show that they are good stewards of donations.

AWI seeks better treatment of animals everywhere — in the laboratory, on the farm, in commerce, at home, and in the wild. While AWI’s mission is to alleviate suffering of nonhuman animals, the principle followed by AWI of compassion and nonviolence applies to human animals as well as nonhuman animals. The Animal Welfare Institute condemns violence directed against all living creatures. There are no exceptions.

AWI has exceptionally low overhead, low fundraising costs, and a large mission which includes ongoing active litigation to establish protections.
